The funeral service is at The Rowan Chapel, Stockport Crematorium on Friday 19th April 2024 at 1pm. 

Guests are welcomed to meet prior to the service at 12pm at The Strawberry Gardens public house, where secure parking is provided. In honour of David's lunchtime tradition shared with his eldest son Alan, we will be raising a glass before commencing the funeral procession.

A traditional hearse will be carrying David, followed by immediate family cars. However, to commemorate and recognise his life's work as a member of London Transport, we will be boarding a private, Routemaster Bus. This marks David's final route to his place of rest and a fitting journey for family and friends to be involved in.
